Pro-Union Boss NLRB Confirms They Are Giving “Active Consideration” To Another Bailout For Big Labor | Big Labor Bailout

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies held an important hearing today to consider funding levels for the pro-Union Boss National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).  After standing up to Big Labor last week with passage of the FAA Reauthorization Act, important questions needed to be asked by Congress on why the NLRB is set on making policy that hurts workers and small businesses.

When questioned by Representative Jack Kingston about holding quick elections to form a collective bargaining unit, Chairman Wilma Liebman confirmed the board is giving “active consideration” to making changes to this process.

In response, Chairman Liebman noted that while the current median time for elections is 38 days, the Board is giving “active consideration” to conducting rulemaking in this area and that the Board was looking at the various components that are part of the current secret ballot election process. In particular, the Board is considering whether these components are still working and necessary or whether they detract from the effectiveness of conducting elections.

The NLRB should not be changing the rules to bailout Big Labor with quick elections.  It will open the floodgates for worker intimidation by Union Bosses set on lining their own pockets with union dues so they can provide cover to those politicians who support their radical agenda of forced unionization.
