Foul Mouthed Thugs Call Las Vegas Tourists “Losers” – Courtesy Of Local Union Bosses | Big Labor Bailout

By WFI Staff

When you’re a tourist visiting one of the world’s greatest entertainment destinations, the last reception you’d expect is a bunch of foul-mouthed, red-faced protesters calling you a “loser,” “jerk” or – even worse – slinging insults about your weight and dehumanizing people with disabilities.  Believe it or not, that’s exactly what’s happening on the Las Vegas strip these days, courtesy of your local unfriendly labor boss.  Reports Vegas, Inc.:

The Culinary Union has added a new batch of insults to its campaign to keep Las Vegas visitors out of the Cosmopolitan.  In a recent video released by the Alliance to Protect Nevada Jobs, protesting Culinary members armed with megaphones were captured calling guests “beached whales” and what sounds like “retards.”

Desperate union bosses looking for a breakthrough in contract negotiations are resorting to truly tasteless tactics.

The Alliance to Protect Nevada Jobs (APNJ) is urgently trying to put a stop to this nonsense before it does any more damage.  “We have received hundreds of e-mails, phone calls, and messages over the last week from concerned citizens asking what they can do to put an end to this harassment,” said APNJ spokesperson Zachary Mole while announcing an online petition denouncing Culinary Union Local 226’s union bosses. “We simply cannot allow the actions of these Big Labor bosses to wreak havoc on our already fragile economy,” Mole added.

APNJ is also putting Nevada state legislators on notice by demanding their support for the petition as protests continue.  “Should you choose not to publicly stand with Nevada job creators and workers against this unsatisfactory comportment, some might interpret that as sympathy for the same union bosses who see nothing wrong with calling tourists ‘losers,’ ‘beached whales’ and ‘nasty skanks,’ among other things,” wrote APNJ State Director Dave McGowan in a recent letter to Carson City lawmakers.

Despite the public outcry and imminent threat to the local marketplace, union bosses have actually dug in.  Struggling Las Vegas residents were just beginning to see rays of hope on the horizon after several years of deep recession, and now this.  The good thing is that people are beginning to see Culinary Union chiefs for who they really are.  The bad thing is that something must be done soon before it’s too late.
