Speaking in Iowa yesterday to announce his candidacy for President, former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty vowed to hold union bosses accountable and oppose their agenda of forced unionization. In his speech, he promised to oppose the job-killing Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act and ensure that the National Labor Relations Board isn’t an advocacy arm for Big Labor.
From Governor Pawlenty’s speech:
And in the private sector, it means no card check – not now, not ever. It means no more taxpayer bailouts just because you gave lots of money to a campaign. And it especially means the National Labor Relations Board will never again tell an American company where it can and can’t do business.
