Union Boss Salary Hypocrisy
Unfortunately Richard Trumka isn’t the only Big Labor boss with a salary that’s out of control. In fact, his very generous income of $293,750 in 2011 is about average. According to the Labor Department’s total compensation figures, many of the top labor leaders make even more than Trumka: Continue reading

Congress Chooses Modernization Over Big Labor
The massive modernization bill costing more than $64 billion over four years will allow the nation’s air traffic control system to switch from radar to GPS technology. It’s a move that allows the country to finally enter the 21st Century with respect to its air traffic control capabilities, thereby making the skies safer and plane travel more cost efficient. In addition, unmanned drone flights can start flying American skies in the next several years. Continue reading

Employers Look To Congress To Balance Labor Scale
At every step of the way, this president has ceded to big labor’s demands and sacrificed the interests of employees and employers as he travels the country extoling the importance of job creation and economic growth. Continue reading

Justice Department Contradicts Itself On Recess Appointments
“The lengths President Obama will go to payback Big Labor appear limitless. First, he recess appoints Richard Griffin and Sharon Block to the National Labor Relations Board without giving the Senate any time whatsoever to conduct its Constitutional responsibility to advise and consent, and next, his Justice Department issues a legal opinion which disputes previous findings from that very same office,” said Fred Wszolek, spokesperson for the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI). WFI Memo: Big Labor & 2011
In the court of public opinion, labor bosses have already lost, and in a few years, we might look back at NRLB rulings on matters such as “ambush” elections and Specialty Healthcare as the death rattle of Big Labor’s influence. And we’ll be proud for helping hasten that day. Continue reading

Another Obama Administration Payback To Big Labor “Can’t Wait”
“President Obama simply ‘can’t wait’ to payback his friends in Big Labor. While the president talks about job creation, his concerns rest with rewarding political allies at the expense of workers and small businesses,” said Fred Wszolek, spokesperson for the Workforce Fairness Institute (WFI). The Biased Board
“Your continued personal obstruction, lack of compliance with a validly issued congressional subpoena and false statements to the committee are unacceptable,’ Issa stated in a letter to NLRB acting general counsel, Lafe Solomon. “The NLRB is acting as a rogue agency that believes it does not have to fully answer to Congress.” Continue reading
